25 years of Total Defence

Every year on 15 February, Singapore commemorates Total Defence
Day to remind Singaporeans that everyone has a part to play in defending our country.

In 2009, we will be commemorating 25 years of Total Defence with Singaporeans sharing their thoughts on the question "What will you defend?"

You are specially invited to visit the What will you defend? website and
tell us through a video of less than 2 minutes about what you will defend.
It could be your family, your dreams, your achievements or even
your childhood memories, because these are important things worth cherishing and defending.

Use your personal email address to join the online video contest and
stand a chance of winning the top prize of a MacBook 2.1GHz worth S$1,500.00 or in the weekly draw, an iPod Shuffle worth S$108.00!

Assistance from Supernumeraries

Bukit View Secondary School will be organising a major parade in Apr 09. Cadet Officers who are Supernumeraries who would like to assist kindly contact me by phone or e - mail. All rehearsals will be conducted in the afternoon from 1500 to 1700 hr. Below are the rehearsal dates:

09 March 3rd pract
16 March 4th pract
23 March 1st Combine Speech Day rehearsal
30 March 2nd Combine Speech Day rehearsal
09 April Speech Day Full Dress Rehearsal
13 April Final Rehearsal (reserve date)

ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Cadet Officers Forum will be held on 20 Feb 09, 1530 hr at NCC MPH. This would be followed with the Cadet Officers & Supernumeraries Cohesion from 1830 to 2200 hr.
