This is my grandmother. She is 95 years old and she just passed on this week in the early hours on Tuesday morning. It has been a hectic week for me in the midst of running the Cadet Specialist Course, Change of Command and NCC Day Parade rehearsals. Commandant & the staff of HQ NCC has been kind and understanding on allowing me to handle the funeral administration. I am sincerely grateful to all, who sent their well wishes and comforting words during this difficult period. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. I will be back to work next week and looking forward to your continued support. Cheers.

SAF DAY PARADE 2007

You are cordially invited to witness the SAF Day Parade on 1 July 2007. I have 60 seats for anyone that wishes to witness this grand parade. The details are as follows:

Location: NCC Campus, Lower Parade Square, Learning Corner
Timing: 1400 hr

Attire

Land Boys - no. 4 with badges and beret
Land Girls - no. 3 with beret
Sea/Air - no.3 with beret
CLTs - no.3 with beret
Teacher Officer – no.3 with beret

The parade will commence at 1700 hr and end at approximately 1830 hr. The return trip buses will be going to these following MRT stations:
a. Boon Lay MRT
b. Ang Mo Kio MRT
c. Yishun MRT
d. Tampines MRT
e. NCC Campus

Commandant NCC Change of Command Parade

The a/m parade rehearsal commences on 7 Jun, 0800 to 1800 hr and on 8 Jun 0800 to 1500 hr. The actual parade will start at 1700 hr, next week.

I am in need for 4 x CLTs or Senior Specialist from Sea District as Supporting Contingent Comdr and 2IC

I also need 2 x CLTs or Senior Specialist from the Land Districts for appointment as Supporting Contingent Comdr and 2IC

And finally 1 x CLT or Senior Specialist (female) as the Contingent 2IC for the Girls Supporting Contingent.

Today, we had our first NCC Day Parade rehearsal at Campus. The weather was kind to us and we are on our journey to making history as this is the 1st time the parade will be held at NCC Campus. I am still in need for the following appointments to be filled:

Supporting Contingent for Sea Boys, i need 4 CLTs or Senior Specialist as Contingent Commander and Contingent 2IC.

Supporting Contingent Girl, i need 1 CLT or Senior Specialist as Contingent 2IC.
