For this year's Affirmation Ceremony i need 5 x Pledge takers to lead the Part "A" cadets on their pledge taking. I need a cadet or CLT each from the 5 Districts. If you are about 1.68 - 1.72m who looks good in No. 1 uniform and is committed to 2 days of rehearsal on 14 and 24 March. We WANT You. The actual day of the Affirmation Ceremony is on 25/3/06. Its not just drill, drill and drill but a time to check out their turnout, bearing and confidence during the interview component. Some were confident, some were cocky, others were nervous and a few "improvised" their answers. I would like to thank all the Evaluators and Admin assistants for assisting me on these selection. A BIG THANK YOU

Today marks the last selection for the Supernumerary Course. As you can see from this photo, God has given his blessings to those who tries to excel. It was a hot morning but those who came faced the challenge with zest and vigor. A trade mark of a Supernumerary.

The 2 buglers from Swiss Winds did us proud during the 39th Memorial Service for civillians who lost their lives during WWII

Greetings, I am looking for 3 Cadets or CLTs from the Land, Sea and Air District each. Your simple task is to represent NCC in the wreath laying for the Memorial Service that would take place on Wed morning (15 Feb 06) at Beach Rd Park. Attire is no. 3.

You can stay in tomorrow if you would want to take the bus from Campus that is leaving at 0730 hr,

Kindly note the dates that are published on my blog on the a/m issue. If you are unable to attend on the stipulated date of your District, you can come on other District evaluation dates. Kindly note that there would be no other dates for evaluation. The training camp would be taking in 150 cadets and 30 CLTs. As application has been closed these are the figures attending the selection:

SUPERNUMERARY TRAINING CAMP - TRAINERS UPDATE

Kindly note that i require a total of 31 x CLTs and 9 Cadet Senior Specialists to conduct the a/m effectively.

To date, i only have 24 x CLTs and 7 x Cadet Senior Spec.

Anymore volunteers pls. Drop me a mail if you are interested.

To all you loyal bloggers that visits my blog, here is some good news for you or for some who desire this chance of a life time.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh will be visiting S'pore from 16 to 18 March 06.

NCC with other UG's have been invited to provide cadets to form the Line of Honor on 17 Mar 2006 at the Esplanade Park.

HQ NCC has been requested to provide 5 x CLTs and 5 Senior Cadets to be form the Line of Honor.

Attire for this event would be No.5T with beret. You will be informed of other details later. 5T will be issued by Logistics Centre.

If you are interested kindly drop me a mail by 6 Feb 2006. Kindly note that you won't be able to participate in the NCC Challenge Quest that falls on the same day. You must be presentable in your appearance, conduct and bearing as i will personally check on you before submitting your names.
