Support for Central Senior Spec Course

Greetings

Calling all Central District Cadet Officers. The Central SSC will be conducted from 7 to 9 Sep 09. So far only 17 Cadet Officers have come forward to assist. I need 41 Cadet Officers to smoothly conduct the course. Something is very wrong here. Central District Cadet Officers have always been a strong supporter of conducting courses and major events at NCC. Can somebody come forward and tell me what is holding you back from assisting HQ NCC or me. I need some answers. Thanks.

Kindly be informed that there is a Basic Survival Training Course conducted during the September holidays. The first course is from 7 to 9 Sep for Central and East district while the second course is from 10 to 12 Sep for West, Sea and Air District. Cadet Officers and Cadets you can register for this course by contacting your respective District CSO, TCO or District Specialist. Registration closes on 2 Sep 09. NCC ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP SCHEME

NCC ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

As of today, we have 2 ex-NSF's, 14 Cadet Officers and 2 ex-Cadet Specialist that have applied to join NCC as an Associate Member.
I would like you to come forward and join this scheme.
I hope to enlarge the pool of talented people and YOU will make that difference in moulding and shaping our young and impressionable Cadets.

PDS AI COURSE

The PDS AI Course will be conducted by from 8 to 12 Sep 09. The venue is yet to be confirmed. Cadet Officers or Cadets that have attended the Basic PDS Course conducted by Hwa Chong or SAF MP Command are eligible to enrol for this course. SWISS WINDS PERFORMANCES

Swiss Winds will be performing at Hort Park Garden Tech 2009 Opening Ceremony.
Concert Band show at 4.30 pm, Saturday, 15th August 2009.

At Kreta Ayer Square for the CLAP Arts Appreciation Programme on Saturday 22nd August 2009
Concert Band show begins at 7.30 pm

Come down and support them. Bring along your Family and Friends and chill out with good music.

NDP 09 PREVIEW

Calling all NCC cadets, old and new, come and support our marching contingent when we commence our city march from 1935 hr onwards. We will be taking the following route for the city march as follows:

We need to contain and control the situation hence the need to cancel this year's celebrations. All activities at NCC has been suspended until 1 Sep 09. For your kind information. NDP 2009 - NCC CONTINGENT

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the NDP NCC Marching Contingent Cadets and Cadet Officers for their resilience, endurance and determination for doing a fine job. Yesterday was our very first rehearsal at the Marina Floating Platform and our tenth rehearsal thus far. Despite the scorching sun, you soldiered on. Till today we have no casualties after 10 rehearsals. It's an amazing achievement and keep up the splendid performance. Looking forward to the next rehearsal.

BASIC SURVIVAL COURSE

The course will be conducted at Pulau Ubin from 15 to 17 June.
There are 24 slots available. If you are interested, contact your District Commander immediately. This is the first course of its kind at NCC. Badges will be awarded. Participants who pass the course will be the pioneers.
